Terrible Twos

Here is a couple pictures from his party in St. Cloud, Here at home and how he felt after.
Trying the frosting first, then the toys, hmm- okay lets eat cake!
Fire! Don't worry Noah will put it out!
Thanks to everyone that came to his party in St. Cloud. It was really hard to get a good picture!

We have been busy this past month with our Little Man. He turned two on Nov. 15th. Where did the time go! He had three parties, one at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn, one for daycare, and one with my family. He is so good at blowing out candles now! I can't even keep my Yankee candle burning, he wants up to blow it out. He's had a few milestones this year. He can say a few words. Not as much as the doctor would like. She said he should have a vocabulary of about sixty words and say a few phrases. We may have to consider speech therapy this spring. He is in his own bed now. Speed Mcqueen from cars is everywhere in his room now. No more Winnie the Pooh. Oh yeah- I almost forgot he sleeps through the night! Finally!! We are still playing with the idea of potty-training. He knows what the chair is for, and he will sit there with a book and reads, but no potty yet.
Christmas is right around the corner. We got the tree up on Thanksgiving Day. Daddy also decorated the backyard and made it a real Winter Wonderland. Lights on all the trees and two different 10ft tall blow-up snowmen. He said he did it for Noah, but I think he wanted it for himself. It looks beautiful, especially with the snow that just fell. I'm a little scared to see what the electric bill will be. I'm a little slow on getting the x-mas cards out, but once I get the right picture I will get them sent.
My overnights at the hospital will be coming to and end the week of Christmas. I'm going to miss working the three nights a week, I saved alot on gas and daycare. For Mikes sake I better go back to days, he misses me, Aah Yuk!!
Mikes finals are next week so he's been spending alot of time studying. So far he has A's in everything. Noah and I are sure proud of him.
Mike, Noah and myself wish all of our family and friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We love you all.

Our little bat

For Halloween we were very busy. First we had Noahs daycare party. He had fun with the games and ate lots of tasty treats. After the party we went over to my moms for his first trick or treat of the night. We didn't stay long, we had to get home and hook up the trailer to the four-wheeler and we hauled all the neighborhood kids around. Thats the way to do it! Less walking. Noah figured out by the end of it that he wasn't suppose to run into peoples houses and that he was suppose to wait outside for his treats! Such a stinker! By 7:30 Noah and I went home and Mike and the kids hit the other end of the development. We weren't home for two seconds and ding-dong! Noah helped pass out the candy, he was kind of stingy so I had to help and throw in extra. We had a blast.

Fall of 08

I can't believe how fast fall has gone. I wanted to get out and get to some parks for the fall colors and we just never had a chance. Mike is back to school! His first semester at St. Cloud Tech for plumbing is almost done. He loves school and he loves the challenges it brings. I am proud of him for going, it been almost twenty years, and to jump into this, has got to be scary. He is the oldest in the class, but he doesn't seem to mind. Even though he is going to school he is finding a lot of time to hunt. He has been taking Libby (our Golden Retriever) and working her very hard. This weekend he went to New York Mills to deer hunt. So its another mother-and-son weekend. It sure is hard to think of things to keep him busy! Noah is such an active little man. He is getting so smart. However, still not fully talking. A week from today he will be the big "2". Of course he will get three birthdays again this year.

Outdoor fun with Uncle

My brother Dave came to town in July to visit for a week. He had a great time bonding with his nephew again. They haven't seen each other since christmas. Dave couldn't believe how much Noah had changed. It didn't take long for Noah to warm up to him. Soon Dave was reading him a ton of books. Noah also got Uncle to play in the pool with him. We hate it when its time for Uncle to leave, and I'm sure it was hard on Dave too. Here are some pics of the boys having fun!

First Hair Cut

We also had Noahs first hair cut, this summer. He sure was a trooper. Noah sat on Daddys lap just to make sure everything was cool. I got a little tear in my eye when the gal handed me the envelope with his hair in it. I can't believe I got emotional about this! What next!!

A growing boy

I can't believe summer is over already. Last time I entered anything was the end of May. My bad! I really don't know what happens with the time. Well, we had a great summer. It was filled with lots of parades, carnivals and fairs. Noah learned how to run in the street for parades to get the candy. I'm not sure who had more fun Noah or daddy. By the time we were done we had a huge bag of candy. At the carnivals, Noah did pretty good as long as he was on a ride with one of his little friends. If he didn't know the person next to him, they would have to stop the ride.
